Surroundings - Tourist routes - One-day tourist route
Either by motorway or main road, start in the direction of Benidorm and then La Nucia as far as Callosa d'En Sarriá, follow the tourist route towards GUADALEST. There you can visit the typical small village of Guadalest, with many craftwork shops and a magnificent viewpoint over the reservoir. Follow the same route back as far as Callose d'En Sarriá and, from the centre, take the road to FUENTES DEL ALGAR, source of the river Algar, with its own semi-tropical microclimate and agriculture, where you will find several attractive restaurants and, in summer, you can swim in the pools fed with waters from the river. An afternoon shopping in BENIDROM, and then back to LA MARINA at night.
